My interest in sports media sparked through me creating a content page on Instagram, surrounding the football club I support, Reading FC. I created the account back in July 2022, as I saw a gap in the community of the football club, to inform fans and followers on key topics surrounding the club, alongside creating graphical content and fan debates. This niche allowed me to create a strong community, achieving over 2500 followers on Instagram, alongside creating personalised media for some of the players of the club, such as club captain Lewis Wing and now Nottingham Forest defender Tyler Bindon. This account really opened my interests into the sports media industry, and really created the platform for me to develop from. 

Currently, I volunteer as a media assistant at local football club Binfield, (Step 4 of the football pyramid) helping to create digital creative content, alongside supporting the club with their matchday coverage. To add to this, I still continue to create digital journalism articles as a freelancer for CityXtra, alongside my personal Substack page, where I cover a variety of different content.
